This policy explains what Metricfen collects when you use our website and product, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

When you visit this site, our server records standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, and the page requested — to keep the service running and to spot abuse. When you create an account, we store the email address and workspace name you give us.

Metrics data

The metrics you send to Metricfen belong to you. On the self-hosted plan they never leave your own servers. On managed plans we store them only to render your dashboards and alerts, and we do not sell them or share them with third parties.

Cookies

The marketing site uses no tracking cookies. The application uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in.

Retention

Request logs are kept for 30 days. Account data is kept for as long as your account is active and removed on request after you close it.

Metricfen is provided on an as-is basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on free plans. You are responsible for the data you send us and for keeping your account credentials safe. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email to account holders.
